Dive Safety

There are several things you can do to be a safe diver. Below are a few simple things you can do to make your dive trip safe.

Weather Information

Weather Report- To help with your dive planning you can type in your destination and take a look at a forecast for the trip.

Off Shore Buoys Weather Map- If you plan to go off shore, this site is a must. It will give you a 5 day forecast of offshore seas.

Temperature Converter- Helpful for converting to or from metric.

Directions:
MAP- Type in the address you wish to find and a map will be displayed

Pre Dive Planning
Pre-Dive Planning Sheet- These sheets will help you on all of your dives and trips. You should follow the pre-dive sheet on every dive.

Flight Information:
Click on Flight Tracker- This site will help you track a flight and see when your plan is coming in or when your dive buddies will be landing. The site gives you a map with a plane, so you can see where the plane is at.

DAN:
Divers Alert Network- If you are not a member of DAN you can sign up online. Please use our DAN Number 363227. The site is also helpful in giving you information about diving health.

Hyperbaric Facilities: Locations and Information- This site is great to look up different locations for chambers. Please understand that chambers have been taken out of some hospitals due to funding cutbacks. These are only a few of the listings and you need call before you go to a chamber or list it in your log book.
