Scuba Houston provides you with all the necessary knowledge that will make you a safe and competent diver. Through books, videos and instruction, divers learn proper diving techniques and effective problem solving skills. Topics covered include scuba skills, marine awareness, physics, physiology, equipment and dive planning.

WHAT IT IS
NOT
WHAT TYPE OF A RATING WILL I RECEIVE?
Under the auspices of SSI and Scuba Houston and depending on your particular abilities you will receive a rating of:
Adaptive Diver- you
must be accompanied by an Open Water Diver that has some additional training
to work with you. This corresponds to people with full use of their arms and
nads and full breathing control.
Excorted Diver- you must be accompanied by an Adaptive Diver Instructor and two Open Water Divers. This corresponds to people with full breating control but only partial use of arms. This also corresponds to the visually impared.

HOW OUR PROGRAM WORKS

CERTIFICATION
Upon completion of the course, you will receive the highly respected Scuba Schools International (SSI) Adaptive Open Water Certification Card, which is accepted worldwide.
